Brian Conlon

Brian Conlon is a seasoned professional in energy and environmental economics, currently serving as a Senior Project Manager in Planning at Energy Trust of Oregon since October 2023. Previously, Conlon worked as a Managing Consultant at Energy & Environmental Economics from January 2015 to June 2021, specializing in distributed energy resources and conducting extensive benefit-cost analyses of electric vehicle adoption across multiple jurisdictions. Conlon has significantly contributed to projects for New York State and the California Energy Commission, focusing on incentive design and building electrification. Early career roles included research positions at Oak Ridge National Laboratory and Southern Alliance for Clean Energy, complemented by academic tutoring and writing for the University of Tennessee’s student newspaper. Conlon holds a Master of Science in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Stanford University and dual Bachelor degrees in Environmental Studies and German Language and Literature from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
