Silvia Tanner, Portland, offers over eight years of experience in the utility regulation field to her board member position. Tanner is a senior energy policy and legal analyst at Multnomah County’s Office of Sustainability where she focuses on clean energy and energy justice. She leads Multnomah County’s advocacy for rules, regulations and utility practices that support vulnerable populations, and explores how seemingly neutral energy policies can contribute to unjust outcomes. She also spearheads the county’s efforts to meet its community-wide renewable energy goals. Tanner holds a Juris Doctor degree from Lewis and Clark Law School and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Portland State University.
