Irwan Tantu

Irwan Tantu has more than 20 years of work experience. Irwan is currently working at Energy Vault as the Director of Project Commissioning and previously served as the Principal Project Engineer. Prior to joining Energy Vault, they worked at Wärtsilä as the Lead Solution Engineer for nearly five years. Before that, they were the Managing Partner at tQ Automation, LLC for seven years, where they specialized in providing automation solutions to the energy and process industries. Irwan also worked at Schlumberger as a Software Engineer on contract for tQ Automation and at tQ Solutions, Inc. as a Consultant and Co-Founder. Irwan has experience at Siemens as a Contractor and Consultant System Engineer, as well as at vMonitor as the Engineering Manager. Earlier in their career, Irwan served as the Software/Firmware Development Manager at eProduction Solutions, where they managed software and firmware engineers and developed various products. Irwan started their career at Asia Karsa Indah, PT. as the Sales Manager.

Irwan Tantu holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Universitas Hasanuddin, which they completed from 1988 to 1993. Irwan also pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Houston-Clear Lake, which they completed from 1997 to 1998.
