Elena Alonso Castro

Elena Alonso Castro is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as a Spot Trader Market / Operador Mercado Spot at Enérgya-VM since June 2018. Previous roles include Engineer at AS Solar Ibérica, Logistics Coordinator for Iberia at CHEP, and a Trainee at Galp Energia. Elena has also gained early experience at Bopama Consulting S.L and the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid as an intern, along with customer service experience at Correos. Elena holds a Master’s degree in Renewable Energies and Environment Engineering and a degree in Mining Engineering, Energy and Fuels from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, supplemented by academic experiences at AGH University of Krakow and Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
