Dirk Beiner

Dirk Beiner is an experienced technology executive with a focus on energy efficiency and lighting solutions. Currently serving as CTO at Energybox since January 2016, Dirk Beiner is dedicated to real-time granular energy metering and visualization of energy consumption. Previous roles include Board Member and Investor at GDC, where an intelligent monitoring platform was developed for building data visualization, and Business Angel and Investor at bettervest GmbH, which utilizes crowdfunding for energy efficiency projects. Dirk Beiner also held the position of CTO at Traxon Technologies, a leader in sustainable lighting solutions, and co-founded e:cue lighting control GmbH, where innovative lighting control systems were developed. Earlier career positions include CEO of GNK GmbH, focusing on telecommunications solutions, and Purchase Manager at Modular Elektronik GbR. Dirk Beiner holds a Diplom Ingenieur degree in Electrical Engineering from Universitaet Paderborn.
