Bertrand Vidal

Bertrand Vidal has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Bertrand currently holds the position of Senior Engineering Manager at EnergyHub, starting in November 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Oracle as a Senior Principal Software Engineer from July 2021 to November 2022, and as a Principal Software Engineer from January 2020 to July 2021.

Before joining Oracle, Bertrand served as the Director of Engineering at CrowdTwist, Inc. from January 2018 to December 2019. In this role, they led various initiatives for the Engineering Organization, including introducing and refining the Code Reviewing Culture, initiating the Technical Debt process, and creating and maintaining the Release Management process. Bertrand also headed several teams, including the Platform Team responsible for platform-wide developments.

Bertrand also has experience as a Senior Software Engineer at CrowdTwist, Inc., Ginerativ, and LTU Technologies. Bertrand served as a Full Stack Software Engineer at LTU Technologies from May 2013 to October 2014, and as a Software Engineer from February 2011 to May 2013. Bertrand started their career as a Junior Software Engineer at Atos Worldline in June 2010 and later worked as an Assistant Engineer at the same company from July 2009 to August 2009.

Prior to that, Bertrand worked as an Analyst at Assor in July 2007, where they drafted formalization for production processes using UML 2.0 and supported software analysis for integration and development.

Bertrand Vidal began their education in 2001 at Lycée, where they completed their secondary education. From 2005 to 2007, they attended Université d'Orléans, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. In 2007, Bertrand enrolled in Polytech Tours and pursued a Master's Degree in Computer Software Engineering, which they completed in 2010. In 2009, they also briefly attended Radboud University for a Master's Degree in Computer Science.
