Jeremy Lyon

Jeremy Lyon started their work experience in 1999 at Apple Computer, Inc. as the AppleCare Communications Managing Editor. Jeremy then worked at Handspring, Inc. as a Communications and Content Specialist from 2001 to 2003. In 2004, they served as a Training Developer at palmOne, inc. and later took on the role of Senior Manager of Customer Service at Tapwave, Inc. from 2004 to 2005. Lyon then joined Palm in 2005 and held various roles including Interaction Designer, Senior Manager of Human Interface Design, and Director of Design. Jeremy managed an annual budget of over one million dollars for Palm's Human Interface team. From 2010 to 2022, Lyon worked at Google in multiple senior design manager positions including Senior Design Manager for Ambient and Fuchsia projects. Jeremy also led the Android London Design Studio and managed cross-disciplinary teams of designers, researchers, and prototypers. Lyon most recently joined EnergyHub in 2022 as a Senior Product Designer.

Jeremy Lyon attended the University of California, Santa Cruz from 1988 to 1992, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics and Economics. In 1994, they briefly attended the Clarion Science Fiction and Fantasy Writer's Workshop at Michigan State University to focus on Creative Writing. Additionally, in 1990, they participated in the Meiji Gakuin Peace Studies Program at Meiji Gakuin University, specializing in International Politics.
