Patrick Murphy

Patrick Murphy has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and organizations. Patrick began their career in 2008 as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps. After their service, they joined New Breed Marketing in 2015 as a Junior Web Designer, focusing on website front-end development. Patrick then worked at Dealer.com from 2016 to 2019, initially as a Web Platform Support Analyst and later as a UI Engineer II. During this time, they played a key role in a team that won an internal hackathon using machine learning for image analysis. In 2017, Patrick joined EQUITAS Life Sciences as an Associate Software Engineer. Patrick returned to Dealer.com in 2017 as a Front End Web Developer. In 2019, they joined C Space as a Software Engineer and later became a Senior Software Engineer, where they had various responsibilities including acting as Tech Lead for a UI system overhaul and implementing design standards. Patrick then joined Packetized Energy in 2021 as a Senior Software Engineer before joining EnergyHub in 2022, where they currently serve as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineering Manager.

Patrick Murphy attended The Evergreen State College from 2004 to 2008, where they studied Philosophy and Creative Writing. Patrick then attended the Community College of Vermont from 2012 to 2013, where they declared an undeclared major. Finally, from 2013 to 2016, they enrolled at the University of Vermont, where they pursued a dual degree in English and Computer Science.
