M.eng. Tamer Antar P.eng.

Tamer Antar, M.Eng., P.Eng. is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as Project Manager and Engineering Manager at Enerkem, where leadership is provided to a large engineering team executing the Ecoplanta waste-to-biofuels project in Tarragona, Spain. Tamer has previously held the position of Lead Process Engineer at Enerkem, developing a world-class waste-to-methanol biorefinery. Prior to Enerkem, Tamer worked at Tetra Tech as a Process Engineer, contributing to projects including the Montreal Suncor Refinery and TransCanada Compression Station. Additionally, Tamer co-founded RINSEiT, an online dry cleaning service, and served as Director Customer Experience at Aurora Solutions Canada. Tamer also gained extensive experience at ConocoPhillips, Lotus Estates, Cenovus Energy, and Encana Corporation, holding roles in project management, reservoir engineering, and process engineering across various sectors. Tamer holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from McGill University and a Master of Engineering in Chemical and Petroleum Engineering from the University of Calgary.
