María Camino Villacorta is a seasoned professional in the field of renewable energy, currently serving as the Directora de Estrategia Digital y Calidad at ENERSIDE ENERGY since October 2017. With a strong academic foundation, María earned a Doctorate in Solar Photovoltaic Energy and a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. María has extensive experience as an associated professor at the same institution from September 2017 to September 2023, and has held various roles in consultative and technical capacities within the solar energy sector, including managing photovoltaic assets at SOLARPACK and providing technical advisory services at Enertis Solar. Additionally, María has contributed to renewable energy research and quality control as an investigator at the Instituto de Energía Solar and provided technical assistance for health communication systems in rural areas of Latin America.
