Sergio Regueros

Sergio Regueros is an accomplished CEO with over 20 years of global and Latin American business experience in the telecommunications and media sectors. He has played an integral part in Enersphere’s ePole™ expansion into the Colombian market.

Mr. Regueros has worked as the Secretary-General and Vice-minister of Communications for the Ministry of Communications in Bogota, Colombia. He was the CEO of Empresa de Telecomunicaciones de Bogota, the leading telecommunications company in Colombia with 4,000 employees, 2 million customers and revenues exceeding USD 500 million. He was the VP of International Operations Central America for Bell South International along with being the CEO of Telefonica Moviles Colombia, in Bogota, Colombia. Mr. Regueros left Telefonica Moviles to become the Director of Mobile Operations Northern Region for Telefonica Latam in Madrid, Spain where he successfully led the startup of Telefonica Costa Rica. Since then he has been the CEO of Mobile Financial Services Holding, a Telefonica and Master Card Joint Venture, the Founding and Managing Partner of Spektrum Consulting, LLC and the Founder and CEO of Axcellnet.

Mr. Regueros received his JD from Universidad Externado de Colombia, his MS in Public Law from Universidad Nacional de Colombia and his MBA from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
