Eric Merkt

Eric Merkt has a diverse background in engineering, program management, and consulting, with extensive experience in the military and energy sectors. From July 2000 to July 2004, Eric served as an Acquisition Program Manager and Captain in the United States Air Force, where responsibilities included managing procurement and overseeing software platforms. Following military service, Eric held positions such as Biological Science Technician with the US Forest Service and Senior Consultant at Summit Blue Consulting, focusing on energy efficiency and program evaluations. As Associate Director at Navigant, Eric specialized in energy consulting, program management, and data analytics. Currently, Eric serves as Partner Success Manager at Enersponse and has operated a consulting business since 2015, providing expertise in energy engineering and analytics. Eric holds a B.S. in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia and an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, with a focus on Energy and Environment, from the University of Colorado Boulder.
