Mark Coughlin is a seasoned professional in the field of chemistry and energy storage, currently serving as the TPPL Technical Project Manager at EnerSys since January 2010. Mark's expertise includes critical material evaluation and electrochemical design for new energy storage products, alongside management of laboratory activities related to goods inwards analysis and process control. Prior to EnerSys, Mark worked as a Chemist at G24I, focusing on product development and process implementation of dye-sensitized solar cells, and at Johnson Matthey, where contributions were made to improve emission control products in the Gasoline Development group. Mark holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Wales, Cardiff, earned between 1996 and 2002.
