Gert began their education at Technisch Instituut Heilig Hart Maasmechelen, where they studied Elektromechanica from 1991 to 1997. Following this, they enrolled at Katholieke Hogeschool Limburg for their Bachelor's degree in Electronics, which they pursued from 1997 to 2002. Later, in 2005, Gert attended Syntra to study Car Mechanic, a field they focused on until 2008. In 2012, they pursued additional education in Cisco Certified Network Associate at CVO, which they completed in 2014. Additionally, in 2013, Gert expanded their knowledge by studying VMWare at Syntra for a brief period.
