Mehrnaz Rouhi Youssefi, PhD has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2008 as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at the University of Connecticut. During this time, they conducted computational investigations of extinction in diffusion and premixed counterflow flames, reduced skeletal mechanisms using DRG (Direct Relation Graph) method, and conducted numerical studies of the role of chemical species in mode analysis of perfectly stirred reactors. In 2011, they became a Lecturer and Research Assistant at Rutgers University. From 2016 to 2019, they worked as a Mechanical Engineer at NextInput and then as a Senior Mechanics Architect at Sentons. Currently, they are a Senior Thermal Mechanical Engineer at EnerVenue.

Mehrnaz Rouhi Youssefi, PhD obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tehran in 2008. Mehrnaz then went on to obtain their MS degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Connecticut in 2011. Following this, they obtained their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Experimental Microfluidics from Rutgers University in 2013.
