Marissa Sauer

Marissa Sauer, CPA, has extensive experience in tax preparation and analysis, particularly within the oil and gas sector. Currently serving as Supervisor - Tax at EnerVest, Ltd. since October 2014, Marissa manages a small internal tax department focused on preparing and reviewing 1065 filings for fund investors, overseeing data coordination with public accounting firms, and ensuring timely delivery of K-1s to investors. Prior to this role, Marissa worked as a Tax Accountant at HighMount Exploration & Production LLC, handling federal tax return adjustments and quarterly tax calculations for SEC provisions.
