Currently serving as Supervisor - Tax at EnerVest, Ltd. since October 2014, Marissa manages a small internal tax department focused on preparing and reviewing 1065 filings for fund investors, overseeing data coordination with public accounting firms, and ensuring timely delivery of K-1s to investors. Prior to this role, Marissa worked as a Tax Accountant at HighMount Exploration & Production LLC, handling federal tax return adjustments and quarterly tax calculations for SEC provisions. Marissa's career began at Grant Thornton LLP, where responsibilities included preparing tax returns for various entities and managing provisions for public companies. Marissa's foundation in accounting was established with a Master of Business Administration from the College of Business and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma.
