Caio Zapata M has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Caio started their career as a Corporate Engineer at GRUPO ZAPATA in 2006, where they restructured production lines, developed and sold new products, and implemented new training methodologies. At Tapon Corona, they worked as a Senior Assistant Director in Purchasing and Finance, negotiating supplier prices, developing substitute suppliers, and restructuring the company's financial plan. Caio also served as a Quality System Manager, implementing controls for raw material consumption and waste disposal. After that, they joined Gebomsa as a Summer Intern, where they developed a planning system and proposed alternate revenue models. At GRUPO ZAPATA, they held various roles including Customer Service and Logistics Manager, Export Sales Director, and COO. In these positions, they improved service levels, reduced operating costs, restructured operations, and set production records. Currently, they are the CEO of ENESTAS SA de CV, where they developed a large natural gas distribution network, built and operates a liquid ethane terminal, and developed new on-road tankers.
Caio Zapata M completed a Maestria en Administracion de Empresas degree with a focus on Finanzas y Manufactura from IESE Business School in 2010-2012. Prior to that, they pursued a Licenciatura en Ingenieria Industrial degree with a focus on Manufactura from Universidad Iberoamericana, Ciudad de México from 2001-2005.
