Gustavo Bonolo

Gustavo Bonolo is a seasoned professional in mechanical engineering with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Eneva since April 2022, Gustavo leads initiatives in energy transition and oversees technological strategies for decarbonization, focusing on hydrogen and carbon capture/utilization. Previously, as a Specialist in Innovation at Eneva, Gustavo defined sustainable technology strategies. Prior roles include Consultant/Application Engineer at Luming Inteligência Energética, where market analysis and cogeneration solutions were developed, and mechanical maintenance positions at Vale and thyssenkrupp Steel. Gustavo holds a Doctorate and a Master's degree in Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica, as well as an engineering degree from UFOP and specialized training at the Università degli Studi di Genova.
