Alexander Smit

Alexander Smit possesses extensive experience in management and consultancy roles within the energy and sustainability sectors. Currently serving as a Bestuursadviseur and Senior Project Manager at Enexis Groep since May 2017, Alexander has also held positions such as Change Manager for Smart Metering and Advisor for Risk and Portfolio Management. Prior to this, Alexander worked at Driven By Values (DBV) as a Consultant focusing on biobased and circular economy projects, and contributed to project management in IT at Essent. At ZLTO, responsibilities included developing sustainable policies for agricultural entrepreneurs through collaboration with stakeholders and providing expertise in spatial development. Alexander holds a Master’s degree in Management of Agro-ecological Knowledge and Social Change from Wageningen University & Research and a Bachelor’s degree in Natural Sciences and Innovation Management from Utrecht University.
