Han Slootweg

Han Slootweg is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the energy sector. Since February 2008, Han serves as COO and a member of the Executive Board at Enexis Groep, overseeing all technical operations and customer processes. Previously, Han held various managerial positions at Enexis, including Director of Asset Management, where responsibility encompassed formulating technical policy, and Manager of Expertise Bedrijfsvoering & Stations, focusing on engineering and operation of energy networks. Additionally, Han is a part-time professor in Smart Grids at Technische Universiteit Eindhoven and has held senior roles in asset management strategy at Essent. Han's academic background includes a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Delft University of Technology and a Master's in Business Administration from Open Universiteit, alongside further education in business strategy and organizational processes. A PhD was obtained at TU Delft with research on the impact of wind energy on electricity systems.
