Kalai Bakthavathsalam

Kalai Bakthavathsalam is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in engineering and leadership roles across various organizations. Currently, Kalai serves as a Member of the Technical Staff at Enfabrica since May 2022. Prior to this, Kalai held multiple positions including MTS at Pensando Systems and Director & CTO at a startup in stealth mode. Kalai's notable tenure at Cisco lasted from May 2008 to April 2015, during which roles included Director of Engineering, Senior Manager of Engineering, and Technical Lead. Kalai began the career at Microland as a Network Engineer in 1997, with progressive roles at CyberTech, Pluris Inc, Riverstone Networks, Lucent Technologies, and Nuova Systems. Kalai earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Communication from Madurai Kamaraj University between 1990 and 1994.
