David Sánchez Elías, CFA

David Sánchez Elías, CFA has a diverse work experience in various industries. David started their career as an intern at Agencia Estatal de Seguridad Aérea (AESA) in 2016, where they provided technical support to the Office of the Director and assisted in the development and implementation of communication plans and KPIs.

In 2018, David joined IDOM Consulting, Engineering, Architecture as a Business Consultant Intern. During this time, they gained experience in consulting and contributed to various projects within the company.

The same year, David joined BBVA, where they worked for four years in Corporate Loans and LBOs. Their responsibilities included managing and monitoring a large syndicated loan and LBO portfolio, focusing on sectors such as Healthcare, Chemical, and Retail & Leisure. David also played a key role in promoting IT projects and supporting process transformation and automation using Agile Methodology.

Currently, David is employed at Enfinity Global, where they are involved in structured finance. Their main focus is on structuring and executing construction and long-term debt financing, development financing, equipment financing, and pre-construction financing, primarily in Italy. David also supports M&A transactions focused on asset deals in renewable energy sectors.

David Sánchez Elías, CFA, has a comprehensive education history. David obtained a Master's degree in MSc International Master in Industrial Management (IMIM) from the MIP Politecnico di Milano, where they studied from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they pursued a Degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Universidad Politénica de Madrid from 2012 to 2016. Additionally, they completed their Baccalaureate in Science and Technology at I.E.S. Los Rosales from 2010 to 2012.

In terms of certifications, David became a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) Charterholder in August 2022 through the CFA Institute. David also holds the Certificado EFPA - European Investment Practitioner (EIP), which they obtained from EFPA España in July 2019. Furthermore, David has achieved the Certificate of Proficiency in English (C2) from the University of Cambridge in December 2016. In June 2015, they obtained the Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française (DALF C2) from the Ministère chargé de l'Éducation nationale.
