Michael Prough

Michael Prough is an experienced public health professional with a strong background in epidemiology and global health. Currently serving as a Senior Project Coordinator and Clinical Research Coordinator at the University of Miami, Michael manages genetic research involving Amish participants in Northern Indiana. Previous experience includes independent contracting at enFocus Inc and leading a capstone project at the University of Notre Dame that utilized GIS and entomological surveys to assess vector abundance and disease risks in Ecuador. Michael has contributed to significant research initiatives at the University of Notre Dame, including analyzing mental health data for APEC countries and participating in technology-focused studies in psychology. Educational achievements include a Doctor of Public Health in Epidemiology from East Tennessee State University, a Master of Science in Global Health from the University of Notre Dame, and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Notre Dame.
