Brent Saunders has a diverse work experience in the field of data engineering and management. Starting in 2000, they worked as a Quantum Programmer at Pine, utilizing SPSS software and Linux sysadmin skills. From 2004 to 2010, they held roles at OTX Research, including Quantum Programmer and Senior Data Manager, where they tabulated market research data and developed tools for quality deliverables. At Ipsos-OTX from 2010 to 2014, Brent served as a Sr Data Manager, managing offshore teams and ensuring deliverable quality. From 2011 to 2014, they worked at Ipsos as part of Dimensions DP Training. In 2014, they joined J.D. Power as a Senior Data Processing Engineer until 2016. During this time, they maintained and updated a moderately sized codebase to report commercial viewership data. From 2016 to 2016, Brent worked as a Senior Software Engineer at UNICOM Global. In 2017, they joined Ipsos in North America as a Manager, DP and Coding/Data Engineer, managing global data collection operations and developing processes for large datasets. In 2019, they became a Data Engineer at VideoAmp, where they utilized Scala, Spark, Postgres, and Snowflake to report commercial viewership data. Since 2020, Brent has held roles as a Big Data Engineer at both PeopleFinders and Enformion, working with Apache Spark/Scala and performing ETL with Hive.

Brent Saunders completed their education with a Master of Science in Information Technology (MSIST) from California Lutheran University between 2015 and 2017. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Government from San Francisco State University from the year 1980 to 1987.
