Piers Newbery

Piers Newbery is currently the Head of Content - Australasia at Engage Digital Partners since February 2022. Prior to this role, Newbery served as the Senior Content Producer for the Australian Open at Tennis Australia from February 2018 to January 2022. He has a strong background in journalism and content creation, having worked as a Senior Broadcast Journalist at BBC Sport for nearly 17 years. Newbery also has experience as a Football Journalist at SPORTAL GROUP and a Sports Journalist at Worldsport. He holds a BA Hons in Communication Studies from Bournemouth University and a NVQ Level 4 in Journalism from the Journalism Training Centre.
