Charlie Backer

Charlie Backer serves as the Vice President of Sales for the Midwest Region at Engage PEO since March 2023, delivering HR solutions to small and mid-sized businesses. Backer is also the Creator and Founder of Hot Charlie's, a St. Louis company known for its unique culinary offerings. Prior to these roles, Backer was the National Relationship Manager at DecisionHR, managing broker relationships across the country. Previous experience includes serving as a Professional Employer Consultant at Oasis and Vice President of Operations at Road Rents, where significant achievements included enhancing operational efficiency and driving substantial revenue growth. Backer holds a Master’s in Business Administration with a focus on Human Resource Management from Lindenwood University and a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Theology from Saint Louis University.
