Mayooran Tharmalingam

Mayooran Tharmalingam has over 13 years of work experience in various roles. Mayooran most recently worked as a QA Lead at Engage People Inc. since February 2019. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst at the same company from February 2017 to February 2019.

Before joining Engage People Inc., Mayooran worked at Tyco Security Products as a System Level Test Engineer from November 2012 to February 2017. In this role, they developed testing strategies, built test cases based on Requirement Documents, and generated comprehensive defect reports. Mayooran also liaised with software development teams.

Mayooran also has experience at Tyco Safety Products as a Team Leader from November 2011 to November 2012, and as a Senior Technical Support Specialist from April 2010 to November 2011.

Prior to that, Mayooran gained valuable experience in an internship role at Celestica as an IT - Architect/Analyst. During this internship from May 2007 to August 2008, they were involved in the design and implementation of new integrations, creating a system to organize data from different databases, and coordinating with SAP XI consultants for system improvements.

Mayooran Tharmalingam completed their Honours B.Eng in Electrical Engineering from Ryerson University between 2004 and 2009. Afterward, they pursued a Software Quality Assurance & Testing (SQAT) Certificate from Centennial College from 2011 to 2012. Mayooran obtained the SQAT Certificate in December 2012 from Centennial College.
