Alexander Wagner is an experienced professional with a strong background in international urban development and municipal exchange. Currently serving as the Group Manager at Engagement Global gGmbH since February 2014, Wagner oversees international exchange initiatives for municipalities and manages the Connective Cities project, which fosters collaboration between German cities and counterparts in developing countries. Prior experience includes working as an Independent Consultant at Büro für lokale Entwicklung, focusing on integrated urban development and project management, as well as serving as a Technical Assistant at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ). Alexander Wagner holds a Master’s degree in Local Development from Sciences Po Grenoble and a Master of Arts in Political Science from the University of Cologne, with additional education at the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne.
