Chris Nicol is an experienced Electrical Engineer currently working at SMART Technologies since July 2010, where responsibilities include developing hardware for DViT interactive whiteboards and educational devices as part of a cross-functional team. Previously held positions include Firmware Engineer at SMART Technologies, where firmware and diagnostic tools for educational devices were developed, and Electronics Contractor for Science Alberta Foundation, focusing on the design and repair of educational devices. Additional experience includes serving as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Calgary and working as an Electronics Engineer at Grindcom, where contributions were made to control systems for forestry equipment.
