Matheu Broom has a wealth of work experience beginning in 2011 when they were a Sound and Light Technician at Hull University Union. In 2014, they worked as an Information Technology Services Specialist at Swansea Environment Centre. From 2015 to 2019, they were a Cleanroom Technician and Researcher PhD Candidate at The University of Auckland, where their project focused on the dynamic process of droplet impacts on microstructured surfaces. In 2019, they became a Team Lead - Microfluidics and Microfabrication and Research and Development Scientist at Engender Technologies Limited.
Matheu Broom obtained a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Physics from The University of Auckland and a Master's degree in Physics from the University of Hull between 2010 and 2014.
