Jan Keromnes

Jan Keromnes is a seasoned professional in software engineering with extensive experience in enhancing developer productivity and optimizing cloud resources. Currently serving as a Sales Engineer at EngFlow since October 2023, Jan previously held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Gitpod from January 2021 to September 2023, where contributions included significant cost reductions in cloud services and the development of high-impact features for over a million users. Jan also served as Director of Developer Experience at TypeFox, implementing CI/CD pipelines and producing popular technical content. Earlier roles included tenure at Mozilla, where Jan worked on containerized development environments and code quality improvements for Firefox, along with software engineering internships at Google, contributing to foundational features in Chrome and Android. Jan holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Tsinghua University and a Master of Engineering from INSA Lyon, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from Université de Lorraine.
