Penny Maher

Penny Maher is an accomplished marketing professional with extensive experience across the energy and telecommunications sectors. Currently serving as General Manager of Marketing & Digital Experience at ENGIE AU since May 2023, Penny previously held various leadership roles at Simply Energy and AGL Energy, including Head of Marketing & Product and Senior Marketing Manager - New Energy. Penny’s background includes strategic marketing management, product development, and market strategy, with a strong focus on emerging technologies and customer engagement. Earlier career experiences encompass management consulting at Growth Mantra Pty Ltd and Advanced Management Services, along with significant roles at Telstra Corporation, where Penny contributed to the development and launch of several high-revenue products and services. Penny holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Political Science from the University of Melbourne and a Graduate Diploma in International Business with a specialization in Marketing from Monash University.
