Cristián Arias Filippi is a seasoned environmental professional with extensive experience in environmental management and project coordination in the energy sector. Currently serving as Líder y Coordinador General de Medio Ambiente-Permisos- Comunidades-Gestión Territorial at ENGIE Chile since November 2020, Cristián oversees regulatory compliance and community relations for energy projects, ensuring adherence to environmental standards and legal requirements. Previous roles include Senior Environmental Consultant at Colbun S.A., where contributions were made to an Environmental Impact Assessment, and Environmental Specialist at ISA InterChile S.A., leading environmental and social evaluations for ongoing projects. Additional experience spans project development and management in forestry and environmental sectors. Cristián holds a degree in Forestry Engineering from Universidad Iberoamericana de Ciencias y Tecnología.
