Mariam Bongi is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in information technology and management. Currently serving as the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Himan Investment and Company since October 2020, Mariam leads a growing enterprise focused on the manufacturing of dustless chalks in Arusha, Tanzania. Additionally, in the role of Managing Director and Information Technology Officer at ENGIE Energy Access (Africa) since October 2018, Mariam has managed IT operations, supported product rollouts, and trained teams across the continent. Prior experience includes positions at MOBISOL UK LTD and GOJO TECH (T) LTD, where Mariam specialized in database administration, troubleshooting, and computer maintenance. Educational credentials include a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from St. Joseph University in Tanzania, as well as certifications in Service Management with ITIL 4 and Project Management from Udemy.
