Samuel Renard

Samuel Renard is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as the Director of Renewables Energies at ENGIE Italia since January 2017. In this role, Samuel has contributed to the growth of the Italian Renewable Energy Market, overseeing the expansion to over 300 MW of Wind and PV plants following the acquisition of Renvico. Prior to this position, Samuel held the title of Directeur Business Development Italia at ENGIE Italia, focusing on various segments of the Energy market. Samuel's earlier experience includes roles at ENGIE Cofely France as Directeur Centre de Profits, managing operational business units and a portfolio of 150 clients, as well as Business Development and M&A roles at ENGIE from 2005 to 2011. Samuel holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, completed in 1996.
