Mehdi Ben Maalla

Mehdi Ben Maalla has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as the CEO of ENGIE Energía Perú and Country Manager for ENGIE Perú since January 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Acquisitions, Investments, and Financial Advisory at ENGIE Brasil from March 2020 to December 2022. Before joining ENGIE Brasil, Mehdi worked at ENGIE, where they held various positions, including Senior Financial Advisor from August 2017 to March 2020, Financial Advisor from October 2015 to August 2017, Head of Cross commodity management, Energy Management & Trading from October 2012 to October 2015, and Portfolio Manager from April 2010 to December 2012. Mehdi also has prior experience at Toyota Motor Europe as an R&D Powertrain Engineering from January 2007 to April 2010.

Mehdi Ben Maalla obtained a Master's degree in Finance, General from Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they completed a Master's degree in Energy & Powertrain from IFP School in the years 2005 to 2007. Mehdi'seducational journey began with a Master's degree in Engineering from Ecole Polytechnique - Université Libre de Bruxelles, which they completed from 2000 to 2005.
