Albert Verhoeven

Albert Verhoeven is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law and international legal counsel. Currently serving as Group Senior Legal Counsel for ENGIE's Global Business Unit Networks since January 2016, Albert assists in managing legal and ethics-related issues at a global level, with significant involvement in Europe and South America. Prior to ENGIE, Albert held various senior legal positions, including Head of Legal for GDF SUEZ Energy Europe, General Counsel for GDF SUEZ Energie Nederland N.V., and General Counsel in both Chile and Peru, contributing to the expansion of GDF SUEZ's operations in those countries. Albert began a legal career as an Associate at prestigious law firms and has a strong educational background, including an LLM from Columbia Law School and degrees in law from several European institutions.
