Ashish Ashra is a seasoned investment professional with extensive experience in business growth and project finance, currently working at ENGIE since September 2023. Previously, Ashish held significant roles at Aljomaih Energy and Water Company as a Senior Business Development Manager, where responsibilities included deal evaluation and commercial negotiations, and at Synergy Consulting, Inc. as an Associate Director, overseeing M&A and debt raising transactions in the MESIA region. At Canadian Solar Inc., Ashish specialized in investment opportunities and project financing, successfully concluding multiple transactions in South Asia. Ashish began a career at SBI Capital Markets, managing infrastructure projects and contributing to significant restructuring deals. Ashish is a Chartered Accountant, having earned a degree from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, and holds a Bachelor’s in Commerce from Delhi University.
