Kees Baijens

Kees Baijens has over two decades of experience in the energy sector, currently serving as Site Manager and Senior Business Development Manager at ENGIE since July 2014, where responsibilities include managing the Gelderland Power Plant and developing strategies for the reconversion of brownfield sites. Previously, Kees held the position of Senior Support Manager, assisting executive management in overseeing thermal generation assets across North Western Europe and Poland. Prior roles include Manager of Asset Management at GDF SUEZ Energie Nederland N.V., and Process Manager at Electrabel. Kees also served as Manager of the Competence Center at Royal HaskoningDHV and worked as an Energy Consultant at ATAG HEATING CORPORATION BV, among other positions. Kees holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Energy Technology from Eindhoven University of Technology.
