Yaron Turpaz has held various roles in the field of Computational Discovery. Yaron began their career in 2004 as a Senior Manager of Bioinformatics and Algorithms Development at Affymetrix, Inc. In 2007, they were appointed Director of Integrative Computational Sciences at Lilly Singapore Centre for Drug Discovery. From 2011 to 2014, they held the positions of Vice President of R&D IT and Vice President of Informatics and Information Sciences at AstraZeneca. In 2014, they became Managing Director and CIO at Human Longevity Singapore, and in 2015 they became a Faculty Member at Singularity University. In 2017, they Co-Founded and became CEO of YNTC Pte. Ltd., and also became Chief Data and Technology Officer at Global Gene Corp. In 2018, they took on the role of CIO and Senior Advisor at Engine Biosciences, and in 2019 they became a Senior Consultant at BEENEXT. Currently, they are the Senior Vice President and Senior Advisor of Computational Discovery at Compugen.

Yaron Turpaz began their educational journey at Tel Aviv University, where they obtained a B.Sc. in Biology between 1995 and 1998. Yaron then went on to pursue a Ph.D. in Bioengineering at the University of Illinois Chicago, which they completed in 2004. In 2010, they attended the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, earning an MBA by 2012. Subsequently, they attended Harvard Business School to pursue a Leadership & Strategy in Pharmaceuticals & Biotech program, which they are still enrolled in. In 2006, they enrolled in Stanford University's Stanford Certified Advanced Project Management (SCPM) program and in 2005 they attended the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, where they obtained a Global BioExecutive Program in Managing Scientists and Technical Staff. Additionally, they are still enrolled in Stanford University's Statistical Learning & Data Mining program.
