Jerome Dane

Jerome Dane has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Jerome is currently serving as the Director of Engineering, Consumer Products at Engine by MoneyLion. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Software Engineering Manager at Tandem Diabetes Care. At Wayfair, Jerome held the positions of Software Engineering Manager for the Delivery Promise Experience Team and the Fulfillment Options Cost Team.

Earlier in their career, Jerome worked at Roomkey as a Software Development Manager and Lead Front End Software Engineer. Jerome successfully implemented various strategies to improve developer velocity, scalability, and testability. Jerome also led the migration of the main product code to Reagent in ClojureScript and implemented automated end-to-end testing using Cypress.

Jerome began their career as a Software Engineer at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business. Jerome also worked as an Owner and Programmer at Blank Canvas Productions, LLC, and as a Web Application Analyst at Yves Delorme, Inc. In addition, they served as a Coordinator at the VCU French Film Festival, where they coordinated tasks, performed web design, and prepared graphic elements for the festival program.

Jerome Dane completed their Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies degree in Educational/Instructional Technology from the University of Virginia, which they attended from 2010 to 2016. Prior to that, they pursued studies in Film at Virginia Commonwealth University from 2002 to 2003, and Communications and Computer Science at Virginia Tech from 2000 to 2002. In addition to their formal education, Jerome also obtained a certification as a Triplebyte certified Front End Engineer from Triplebyte in April 2020.
