Andy Vandette

Andy VanDette is a seasoned audio professional with extensive experience in mastering and engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Mastering Engineer at Engine Room Audio since March 2014, Andy specializes in mastering for Stereo, 5.1 Surround, and Vinyl formats. As the Owner of Evolve Mastering since January 2005, Andy engages with innovative audio management tools. Previously, from February 1986 to March 2014, Andy held the position of Chief Engineer at Masterdisk, where contributions included supporting colleagues like Howie Weinberg and offering guidance to interns. The early career began at Millbrook Sound Studios in 1985, performing various tasks including making coffee. Andy holds a Tonmeister degree in Sound Recording Technology from the State University of New York at Fredonia and has pursued further education in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services at Pace University and SUNY Westchester Community College.
