With a background in Civil Engineering, Rafat has held various roles in commercial management, development management, and project management throughout their career with companies such as United Engineering Construction, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, Deyaar Development, Lacasa, and Design and Architecture Bureau DAR. Rafat is also well-educated in construction law and international construction contracts, having completed a University Diploma in International Construction Contracts from Paris-Pantheon-Assas University.
