Dan Luna, P.E. has over 30 years of experience in engineering. Dan began their career in 1989 as Lead I & C Engineer at Graver Water Systems, where they provided R&D, technical support, teaching support, and overall problem solving to various business units in the field of industrial automation, computer control and instrumentation. Dan also supervised/directed field support staff and operating manuals departments. In 1995, they became Chief Engineer at Control Solutions, Inc., where they were responsible for day-to-day operations, customer service, sales/marketing support, project management, QC/QA, technical staff supervision, project design and implementation, sales proposal reviews, cost estimation, allocation of resources, architecture of systems, and financial related duties. In 2006, they joined CG Automation Solutions USA (formerly QEI) as Software Engineering Manager, where they were responsible for managing and scheduling software department, designing architectures of systems, reviewing code, providing process knowledge to staff, and resolving issues with staffing shortfalls. In 2013, they joined Circonix Division of Davis Standard as Software Engineering Manager, where they were responsible for managing and scheduling software department, designing architectures of systems, reviewing code, providing process knowledge to staff, and key metrics being safety, reusability, and within time and budget. Most recently, in 2014, they joined Engineered Energy Solutions as Vice President Of Engineering, where they lead in-house software development engineer of PLC/HMI software and network applications, designs architectures, and generates code to support field engineers.

Dan Luna, P.E. received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Rochester in 1988. Additionally, they hold an ISA 99/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Fundamentals Specialist certification from the Instrument Society of America.
