Engineering Ambassador at Engineering Ambassadors Network

Melinda T. is an experienced educator and mentor currently serving as a SIP Teaching Assistant at Girls Who Code since September 2018, where responsibilities include facilitating virtual classrooms, managing workshops, and providing individual student support. Melinda has held several leadership roles within UW College Loops, progressing from Secretary to President, where tasks involved organizing meetings and connecting with GWC Nationals. Additionally, Melinda serves as an Engineering Ambassador for UW, engaging K-14 students in engineering education, and as a mentor for high school students exploring STEM careers. Melinda's previous internships include roles at Jamco America and Ambition In Motion, where technical skills in programming, database management, and promotion were developed. Educated at the University of Washington College of Engineering, Melinda also participated in a summer program at Tohoku University in 2019.
