Ronald Thompson

Ronald Thompson is an experienced aviation professional with a robust background in training and operational instruction. As an AH-64D/E LCT Instructor/Operator at Engineering & Computer Simulations since September 2019, Ronald has leveraged prior expertise gained as a Tactical Subject Matter Expert in the US Army. Ronald's extensive experience includes roles such as NVG Flight Instructor and Flight Instructor for various helicopter models at AECOM/URS/EG&G, where responsibilities included training and developing UAS operators in simulation environments. Ronald also served as a Sr. Specialist with TCM FVL-ITE, supporting Future Vertical Lift and Improved Turbine Engine initiatives. Ronald's military tenure encompassed multiple leadership and operational roles, including AH-64D Platoon Leader and Standardization Pilot, where development of aviation doctrine and oversight of extensive training programs were paramount. Ronald holds an Associate's degree in Aeronautics from Central Texas College, enhancing a comprehensive skill set in aviation and tactical operations.
