Abdelhameed Mohamed

Abdelhameed Mohamed currently serves as the Head of the Smart City Department and Principal Smart City & ICT Engineer at ECG Engineering Consultants Group S.A. since August 2023. Previously, Abdelhameed held positions at AIT Austrian Institute of Technology GmbH as a Master's Thesis Intern, focusing on Key Context Indicators for Smart City Developments, and at Hochschule für Technik Stuttgart as a Master’s student in Smart City Solutions. Prior experience includes roles as a Principal ELV/ICT Engineer and Senior ELV/ICT Engineer at Engineering Consultants Group S.A., where responsibilities involved designing ELV systems for major projects in Qatar, as well as earlier work as a Communication and Electronics Engineer at Saudi Binladin Group, supervising maintenance for critical systems at the holy mosque. Abdelhameed holds a Master’s degree in Smart City Solutions and both a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Communications and Electronics Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Communication and Electronics.
