Matt Lammers

Matt Lammers started their career at Read Jones Christoffersen Ltd. in November 2010 as a Structural Designer. Matt then joined Engineering Ministries International (EMI) in August 2013 as a Staff Structural Engineer. In September 2017, they advanced to the role of Engineering Manager, where they oversaw engineering functions, managed staff and volunteers, and initiated the transition to BIM. Currently, Matt serves as the Deputy Director - Architecture & Engineering at EMI Uganda, leading the development of design services and ensuring adherence to the organization's core values and standards. Overall, Matt Lammers has a diverse work experience in the structural engineering field.

Matt Lammers has an extensive education history. Matt earned their Bachelor of Applied Science in Honours Civil Engineering from the University of Waterloo, where they studied from 2005 to 2010. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Management, Nonprofit Organizations degree at Biola University, from 2019 to 2023.

In addition to their degrees, Matt Lammers also holds professional certifications. Matt obtained the P.Eng certification from The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA) in April 2020, and from Professional Engineers Ontario in January 2015.
