Melissa Lange, P.E., S.E. is a seasoned structural engineer with extensive experience in the engineering field. Currently serving as Lead Structural Engineer at Engineering Resource Associates, Inc. since September 2016, Melissa has previously held roles including Structural Project Manager at Civiltech Engineering, Inc. from February 2007 to September 2016, and Structural Engineer at Hutter Trankina Engineering from September 2005 to October 2006. Prior to that, Melissa was a Senior Structural Engineer at Thornton Tomasetti from March 2001 to September 2005 and a Project Engineer at Nicor Gas from June 1998 to March 2001. Melissa holds a Master of Structural Engineering degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology (1999-2000) and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Valparaiso University (1994-1998).

Founded in 1990, Engineering Resource Associates, Inc. (ERA) is a full-service civil engineering, structural design, environmental science and surveying firm serving clients throughout the Midwest. With offices in Warrenville, Chicago, Champaign and Milwaukee, ERA offers diverse experience on a wide variety of projects for public, institutional and private sector clients. A unique characteristic of ERA is our project approach of integrating engineering design, environmental issues and aesthetic appeal into a coordinated effort.
