Steve Gaydos

Steve joined ES3 after retiring from Boeing as a Technical Fellow. He was a Material and Process engineer specializing in corrosion control and application of metal surface finishing treatments to improve the corrosion and wear resistance of military aircraft and weapon systems. While at Boeing, he implemented several environment friendly surface finishing treatments including zinc-nickel plating to replace cadmium plating. At ES3, Steve supports all of the surface finishing projects and reviews surface finishing test methods, such as hydrogen embrittlement testing. He has a MS degree in Metallurgical Engineering and BS degree in Chemistry, both from the University of Missouri.
